More About Me

I feel like it's a bit vain to assume you want to know more about me... but I'm going to go ahead and do some assuming. I mean, you DID click on this page. You MUST want to know SOMETHING... right?

Let's jump in then, shall we?

• I have a degree in family studies and a certification as a PREP instructor.

• Before becoming a family life major, I was also a dance major and a humanities major. I also almost became a finance major, a music, dance, theatre major... and a French minor. I pretty much changed my major up until the minute BYU allowed me.

• I am very indecisive. See above.

• I don't like cake but I love ice cream. And let's be honest, I'll still eat the cake if it's in front of me.

• I am the 2nd of 6 children.

• I love love stories and belive that all books need one.

• I have driven cross-country multiple times.

• I danced in the London New Year's Day parade. It was POURING rain.

• I am a photographer (or was, before writing became more time-consuming.)

• I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

• I looooove pasta. It's an unhealthy obsession I have no intention of curbing.

• I hate conflict.

• I hate turning left into traffic.

• I never wanted to be a writer growing up. But I was a voracious reader.

• I used to be terrified of being abducted (as in kidnapped) but only just learned that my family always believed I was terrified of being abducted by aliens. 

• I spend my weekends exploring the mountains with my husband or (more often) playing games with our families.

• My husband and I were married in 2014 and have two little girls a little boy.

• I'm a night owl, but I want to be an early bird.

• I really like cheese. It's kinda weird.

• HGTV is probably my favorite channel.
